Giacobbe Fragomeni (born August 13, 1969 in Milan) is a Cruiserweight boxer from Italy and former WBC champion of the world. As an amateur he won the 1998 European Amateur Boxing Championships in Minsk at heavyweight 201 lbs/91 kg limit.

Professional career

Fragomeni turned pro nicknamed Gabibbo in the cruiserweight division. On March 12, 2005 he won the WBC International Cruiserweight Title by defeating Brazil's Daniel Bispo in the Mazda Palace in his hometown of Milan. on November 17, 2006 he challenged David Haye for the EBU (European) cruiserweight title, with Haye winning via TKO in round 9. On October 24, 2008 he won the WBC Cruiserweight Title by defeating Rudolf Kraj in the Palalido, Milan. He fought Krzysztof Wlodarczyk on May 16, 2009 and fought him to a draw after twelve rounds to retain his WBC Cruiserweight title. On November 21, 2009 he was defeated by Zsolt Erdei. on May 15, 2010 he lost in a rematch to Krzysztof Wlodarczyk by 8th round TKO.
